Credit Risk Manager
70-85k Base + Great Benefits

Our client is a fast-growing, highly visible, and well-respected commercial finance company with hubs across the world. This FinTech company provides embedded software solutions for the worlds leading and largest e-commerce platforms (eBay, Shopify etc.). Due to growth and increased global demand for their merchant financing solutions, they now have an exciting opening in London for a Credit Risk Manager.

As a Credit Risk Manager, you will:

  • Leverage technology and design to deliver meaningful business outcomes
  • Own and refine a credit risk strategy and pricing model
  • Work closely with Data Science, Credit Decision and Product teams
  • Deliver in-depth portfolio analysis
  • Analyse and evaluate new data sources
  • Drive process automation
  • Help enable quick entry into new markets
The ideal Credit Risk Manager will possess the following skills, traits, and experience:
  • 4+ years in an analytical role in retail banking or FinTech
  • Data science and statistical/financial modelling
  • SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages
  • In-depth understanding of credit risk, SME, corporate and/or consumer
  • Keen to explore new data and analytical methods
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and thrive in a high-intensity, high-demand and on-time environment
  • A strong sense of urgency by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities
  • Critical thinking, analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
The successful Credit Risk Manager can expect:
  • An initial basic salary circa 70-85k
