Position Overview & Specifications

We are currently recruiting a Document Controller for our client, based in Stockton-on-Tees.

The main duties of the role are to:

  • Maintain accurate records of all drawings and documents issued from suppliers and various internal departments to and from external customers
  • To control documentation for a number of different projects at any one time. Efficiently processing large numbers of documents on multiple projects checking, printing, reviewing and distributing electronically via internal systems.
  • Ensure all documentation returned from the customer with comments is issued to the originator with a copy to the Project Manager and the MDR updated.

Personal Requirements:

  • Previous experience of Document Control systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PDF is essential, together with an ability to write reports.
  • Confident communicator.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Stockton-on-Tees, Durham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
